With Eire’s Paris swimming medallists Daniel Wiffen and Mona McSharry lacking the championships, European 50m backstroke champion Hill can be joined within the 13-strong squad by fellow Olympians Ellen Walshe, Tom Fannon, Shane Ryan and Max McCusker.
