Scotland lock Jamie Hodgson has returned to dad or mum membership Edinburgh from Bristol Bears after struggling a tricep damage.
The 26-year-old joined the Bears on a short-term mortgage deal on 2 December and performed in 4 video games for the membership.
He went off within the twenty fifth minute of the Premiership defeat by Saracens final Saturday and has returned to Scotland because the damage requires surgical procedure.
“He is been good,” Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam advised BBC Radio Bristol. “He is torn his tricep muscle I feel so he will must have surgical procedure. He’ll be again as much as Edinburgh.
“I do need to take my hat off to him. To have the ability to begin a sport towards Saracens and name our line-out simply reveals the dedication that he put into studying our sport, studying our methods.
“Prime man as we had been advised by Magnus Bradbury and Invoice Mata and others – he lived as much as that.”
