A brand new competitors for soar jockeys with £500,000 for the winner launched on Friday.
The David Energy Jockeys’ Cup, which runs from the November Cheltenham assembly till April’s Grand Nationwide assembly, has a prize fund of £1.5m.
Jockeys will earn factors in any race televised on ITV Racing with 10 factors awarded for a win, eight for second, six for third and 4 for fourth.
The jockey who collects probably the most factors can be topped the winner and scoop the highest money prize, whereas second place collects £200,000 with £100,000 on supply for third spot, plus awards all the way in which right down to tenth place.
Harry Cobden, the present champion soar jockey, is amongst those that are set to participate together with Harry Skelton, Nico de Boinville and Rachael Blackmore.
