Welsh jockey James Bowen will miss the Cheltenham Pageant after being given a seven-day ban.
Bowen, 23, rode Zestful Hope to victory at Hereford on Sunday however was discovered responsible of extreme use of the whip approaching the house bend.
The suspension runs from 11-17 March, with the pageant 11-14 March.
Bowen shared the spoils with brother Sean at Cheltenham racecourse in December after a dead heat was recorded between their horses.
