Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Alex Pereira says his social media was hacked after a tweet hinted at retirement.
Pereira, 37, final fought in March when he misplaced his UFC belt to Magomed Ankalaev, and is at the moment in talks to battle the Russian once more.
In a submit on Wednesday Pereira mentioned he was “disheartened” with the UFC and was having “ideas of not preventing any extra”.
Pereira is the UFC’s greatest present star and after just a few hours of hypothesis, the Brazilian posted a video from his Instagram account saying it was not an announcement made by him.
“I’ve acquired a ton of messages, getting messages from everybody, who noticed a submit from my Twitter,” Pereira mentioned in Portuguese.
