Gloucester have put their “greatest foot ahead” to maintain Argentina full-back Santiago Carreras amid hypothesis about him leaving the membership this summer time, director of rugby George Skivington has mentioned.
Versatile Carreras has been with the Cherry and Whites since December 2020, initially taking part in in each wing positions, and has made greater than 75 appearances.
The 26-year-old, who may play at fly-half, has been one in all Gloucester’s stand-out gamers in current seasons and scored his fourth strive of the marketing campaign within the win against Leicester on Saturday.
“I have not acquired any feedback on the way forward for Santi,” Skivington informed BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
“It is as much as Santi what he does, we have put our greatest foot ahead and that will probably be as much as Santi.”
Carreras has been capped 53 occasions by the Pumas since his debut in 2019.
“He is clearly a person in demand and sure issues include that and that is the character of the beast,” Skivington added.
