In a joint statement, external, Hetherington and Beaumont mentioned: “The vast majority of golf equipment, together with golf equipment from all ranges of the skilled recreation, had been clear that they needed a ‘membership led strategic overview’ of coverage and course.
“To attain this, it was essential that the chair and subsequent in line on the RFL had been changed on an interim foundation by the one that would chair the strategic overview.”
They added: “The overview will embody the ‘complete of the sport’ and can solicit views from as broad a cross part as potential, participating the views of all golf equipment, and to incorporate these of our largest property, our companions and supporters.”
