Rally Estonia winner Oliver Solberg has remained tight-lipped on his future past the top of this season – regardless of constant hypothesis that he’s the pure successor to Kalle Rovanperä at Toyota.
The 24-year-old Swede gained Estonia on his debut aboard a Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 and has not too long ago lifted the WRC2 title on the wheel of a GR Yaris Rally2.
Requested about Rovanperä’s stunning departure and the way that might influence on his personal 2026 plans, Solberg stated: “I believe like everyone I used to be a little bit stunned at Kalle’s information, however we all know he’s a driver who has plenty of ambitions in plenty of areas of motorsport and I want him all one of the best and, after all, we shall be watching with curiosity.
“For me and Elliott, our main goal for this 12 months was to win our championship – which we’ve got accomplished, with the assistance of our Printsport workforce and good companions. Now we need to carry out to one of the best of our capacity and to chase wins in the remainder of the rallies. That’s the place our focus lies proper now.”
