BOSTON — Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes is becoming a member of Crew USA in Boston and will probably play in Thursday’s 4 Nations Face-Off ultimate towards Canada, U.S. coach Mike Sullivan mentioned Tuesday.
Hughes was one of many authentic six gamers named to the U.S. roster in June however bowed out as a consequence of an indirect damage. It’s unclear if he’ll be allowed to play within the ultimate if there are not any different accidents or sicknesses, Sullivan mentioned.
The Boston Bruins announced Tuesday morning that Charlie McAvoy will miss the ultimate after sustaining an upper-body damage through the occasion and going to the hospital for additional testing.
