After coming near success final season with Patrick O’Ward, this 12 months McLaren might be one of many favourites to win the Indianapolis 500.
With simply over a month to go till the massive race of the 12 months, the Woking-based group has revealed the liveries of their three vehicles, which can pay tribute to Triple Crown winners.
The Triple Crown
McLaren can boast of getting received all of the three main races in motorsport – the Indy 500, Formula 1‘s Monaco Grand Prix and the 24 Hours of Le Mans – and they’ll pay a tribute to the winners on Could 28 in Indycar.
Pato O’Ward, who’s thought to be one favourites to win, will run an all-black livery, impressed by the McLaren F1 GTR that received the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans within the first participation of the group within the legendary endurance occasion.
