Joe Saumarez Smith, the previous British Horseracing Authority (BHA) chairman, has died on the age of 53.
Saumarez Smith stepped down from the role last month after his lung most cancers unfold to his mind.
He was first recognized with most cancers in 2023 and continued in his position as he underwent therapy.

Saumarez Smith joined the BHA in December 2014 as a non-executive director and have become chairman in March 2022.
