Former jockey Invoice Turner has died on the age of 78 following a “freak accident” earlier this week, his daughter has introduced.
Turner, who was primarily based in Sigwells in Somerset, reportedly fractured his cranium in a fall on Monday. He was hospitalised however died earlier.
The horse coach turned synonymous with the Brocklesby Stakes at Doncaster, having received the standard first race of the Flat turf season six occasions.
