Jersey swimmer Filip Nowacki has gained two gold medals and a silver on the European Junior Swimming Championships in Slovakia.
The 17-year-old twice broke the European junior document within the 200m breaststroke.
Having clocked a time of 2:09.11 in the semi-final he lowered that mark to 2:08.32.
Nowacki’s new document is 1.32 seconds faster than the earlier European 200m junior breaststroke document and was the fifth-fastest time recorded by a British swimmer.
Having already twice damaged the British age group document within the 50m breaststroke as he went on to win a silver, he additionally added gold within the 100m breaststroke.
